Today I had my first final exam. I'm hoping for at least a B in this class for which I had this final exam because otherwise it will truly terrorize my GPA and probably be seriously detrimental for my chances of transferring. Although we had two hours, I only spent 40 mintues on the exam. For some reason, with every exam I take, once I leave the room I become very afraid that I may have missed a page or something because I'm a very fast test-taker. That doesn't necessarily mean I'm a good test taker.
Anyway...yesterday I got carried away buying Chinese food takeout and ended up getting twice the amount of food I originally intended. Instead of ordering just one set of dumplings and an entree of lo mein, I got a moo shi chicken, an appetizer of dumplings, an order of meat deep-fried wontons, and a box of egg rolls. Utter bliss. Talk about good luck for final exam studying--I haven't worried about my stomach growling for the past 48 days!! Usually in the mornings, 9:00am, several hours before I normally wake up (ahh the sleep schedule of a college student, yes?), my eyes snap open because I'm insanely hungry and usually there's nothing to eat, but today...oh today I swung my legs out of bed and munched on a wonton before happily went back to sleep for four more hours. Excellent.
Tomorrow my mommy is coming to help me pack up my stuff so today I've been cleaning up and preparing for her presence like a mad woman. I'm so excited!! T-minus 4 days until I fly back home!! Now it's time to actually study for my Mandarin final exam while finishing off my leftover Chinese takeout and sipping ginger beer--yum ^^.
