And of course, chapstick

So I'm home for the weekend, and loving it.  I went to Target to get some essentials...lotion, mouthwash, contact lens solution.  I realized for the first time in my life I'm really content with what I'm using, like the daily necessities and stuff.  Here we go--

Face wash:
Shower face wash: Olay Total Effects Anti-Aging Cleanser
Anti-aging stuff isn't just for old ladies!! It was $8.99 at Target, which is a total steal especially since it works just as well as any Kiehls product and is about a third or fourth of the price.  :) And it smells nice, too.  I only use this in the shower though.  Don't know why, that's just the way it worked out.

Non-shower face wash: Soap & Glory Clean Mary Cleansing Milk
This cleanser works super well and doesn't foam up so I use it for after I come back from class to remove my makeup (I wear eyeliner almost every day now....INSANE).  I may be feeling some sort of placebo psychological crappy crap effect from reading all the good reviews about it on makeupalley.com and Target.com and such, but I think it's actually making my skin nicer.  :) It's got some andiroba oil to get the redness down.

The only downside? It smells kinda funny.  At least it does to me.

Face Moisturizer:
Ponds Clarant B3 Normal to Oily Face Moisturizer
I love Ponds.  Such low prices, SO MANY OUNCES.  So when I found out that there was a Ponds face moisturizer that brightens dark spots (no more Freckle freakouts?!), AND has SPF15, not to mention it came in an adorable light pink container, I was SOOO happy.  Because everyone knows your face is really all about the moisturizer.  Not really.  But I'm obsessed with moisturizers.  No dryness for me, thank you.  But sometimes SPF15 isn't enough for me so I pair it with...

Boots Botanics Face Lift Firming Cream
The words "Face Lift" in the product name almost made me not get this, but I read good reviews about how it is quickly absorbed and blah blah blah, so I got it.  Also, it was on sale and organic face products are NEVER on sale.  It's pretty good.  Organic.
....
Yeah, I don't really know if organic has anything to do with it because the Spanish directions on how to use the Ponds pretty much tells me that that sh*t is NOT organic, but it works just fine like this one, but Botanics is awesome.  It works.  That's all that matters :).

Makeup Remover:
Yes-to-Carrots Eye and Face Makeup Remover
To be honest, I don't really give a damn about what ingredients are in this, I just know that it's not oily or greasy, it's creamy, and I like that.  It also works super well to remove my eyeliner and mascara without making me feel like I'm gonna get a sty (even though I have a sty right now, thus am kind of hating on everything).  I just swipe this over everything and it comes off super easy.  Also, the ounces of product you get to the price ratio is super awesome considering the quality of what you're getting.  :) One of the best decisions of my girly life.

Body Wash:
Tone Body Wash-Almond Milk (the bottle I got doesn't actually look like this)
I actually chose this body wash because I had just run out and went into somewhat of a panic because I'm a little OCD about germs and being clean, so I had urgently told my daddy I needed to go to Target and just grabbed something random that smelled nice.  Turns out later, after reading reviews online and trying the stuff, that I had gotten a really nice body wash that only cost $4 dollars 'cause it had been on sale.  SCORE.  Smells suuuper yummy, too....like a sugar cookie.  A vanilla sugar cookie.

Shaving Razor:
Venus Embrace Shaving Razor:
Before this year I didn't really care what kind of shaving razor I used.  But then I started to see guys that were kinda cute and I got to interact with on a daily basis, and I'm not even kidding, I got self conscious about what my legs looked like.  So I went to Target and stopped using cheapy one-blade shaving razors and got Venus Embrace, which has a whopping 5 blades.  Totally worth it.  My legs look awesomer and they feel like....like satin.  Or something.  Especially since right after I shave I use....

Lotion:
Body Shop Shea Body Butter
I really only use this for my shins because that's usually the driest part of my everything, and it smells really nice.  And it's like butter...like that spreadable canola butter? It's like that.  Except it gets absorbed into your skin which is good, otherwise I wouldn't use this, if it was a not absorbable pot of grease.  Gross.  But it's not.  I highly recommend.

Aveeno Stress Relief Lotion
I'm not much of a believer in "stress relief" products (except maybe a good cup of expertly brewed 功夫 style 茉莉花绿茶...that I brewed myself of course), but Aveeno usually delivers in quality when it comes to their lotions and this is not an exception.  I like feeling super smooth, and looking smooth, too, and this comes in a pretty long-lasting bottle, so I don't feel bad about using it liberally like I do with the body butter.

Shampoo:
Aussie Cleanse and Mend Shampoo
It does what it says it will do.  It gets rid of oily roots and split-end-y tips.  Well, not so much the split-end-y tips, but it helps with the oily roots and that's what I cared about.  It has a nice, pleasant, clean citrus-y smell and comes in a big*ss bottle for only $7.99, so I give this a definite thumbs-up, and will also definitely buy it again when I run out in a million years.  This bottle is SOOO BIGGG.

Conditioner:
Nexxus Humectress Ultimate Moisturizing Conditioner
This is definitely the kind of conditioner they use in salons.  It smells like a salon conditioner, which = smells really nice, and works really well.  I only use it every other day because my hair is normally really heavy and long and soft anyway, but I definitely always use it when I'm going to work or a special event or to see Cute Guy later.  It's a life-saver!! Not really.  It's a luxury.

and of course,....
