Egg Tacos and Maple Roasted Brussel Sprouts

Today was definitely a food day.  How could it not be when all the great moments revolved around the food?!?!

First, I woke up really late, about 11:45am because I had stayed up until 3 the night before, but sometime around 8:00am the Mothership had come in to tell me that she had heated up some of the corn tortillas.  Excitement.  So at about 12 I went into the kitchen and took two of those wonderful, thick, delicious corn tortillas and was like "....I don't want to just put meat on this."  So I cooked two eggs scrambled, equally plopped them on the two tortillas, spooned a generous glob of guacamole and sour cream on each and then put the meat on there.  It was...DELICIOUS.  Behold:

Pre-meat (I hadn't put on the carne asada yet)
And then later for dinner, I had brussel sprouts for the first time.  I thought it was going to be disgusting, given the brussel sprout rep, but the Mothership did this Maple Roasted Brussel Sprout thing that made my taste buds very happy.

Not actually my picture but it did look like this.  I was too busy eating to remember to take a picture!!
